Project Background
The homeowner and Vertical Arts designed this modern home in Colorado, but required elements from the homeowner’s childhood country of Morocco. Parasoleil had an important lesson in understanding the geometry, background, and structure of such a long-standing tradition of decorative perforated screens as privacy and sun-control devices.
Approach
Parasoleil CEO talked personally with the homeowner to understand the background of these patterns and how they have been used in residential settings for thousands of years. In understanding the needs of the client, Parasoleil was able to make panels to fit the function and aesthetics of the space.
